Crystal Palace are tracking a move for a midfielder this summer, but face potential competition for his signature, according to reports.

Daichi Kamada, Chadi Riad, and Ismaila Sarr have all joined Crystal Palace, but plenty of other targets are available too.

Midfield options at Palace consist of Cheick Doucoure, Adam Wharton, Jefferson Lerma, Will Hughes, and Naouirou Ahamada in the deeper roles, with Eberechi Eze, Matheus Franca, and Kamada occupying the attacking positions. It means that there is little space for a new signing in that position unless a move-out is made in the coming weeks.
