Crystal Palace Manager Asserts Eberechi Eze’s Future Amid Spurs Speculation”
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has dismissed speculation surrounding the future of midfielder Eberechi Eze, asserting his belief that the player will remain at the club beyond the summer transfer window.
Recent reports have linked Eze with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, with Manchester City also reportedly interested. However, Glasner has emphasized his expectation that Eze will continue to be a part of Crystal Palace’s squad.
While rumors suggested that Tottenham had an advantage in the race for Eze’s signature due to his preference to stay in London, Glasner declined to discuss any potential transfer valuation. Instead, he highlighted Eze’s importance to the team and expressed confidence in his and teammate Michael Olise’s commitment to Crystal Palace.
Glasner stated, “We think [Eze and Olise] will play for Crystal Palace next season. They are two fantastic football players and two great characters – this is important for me.”
He emphasized the unpredictability of the transfer market, acknowledging that squad compositions can change rapidly, but reiterated his belief that Eze and Olise will remain with the club.
Glasner’s comments serve as a strong indication of Crystal Palace’s desire to retain Eze’s services, despite reported interest from other clubs.
